Geisha Fan complete (at last!)

Hello everyone

well the sunshine has well and truly now gone, and in replace they have forecast snow for tomorrow (boo!) Poor Scotland has already had six inches, and I am all fingers crossed that us Welsh don't get the same tomorrow :( I hate the snow with a passion, everything comes to a halt in my town and worst of all due to my condition my joints seize up and are very painful in the cold, so even the littlest of tasks is just so hard, but on the bright side I am not working tomorrow so that if it does snow then I will be warm and cosy inside with my stitching, as everything else needed doing has been done, so I can concentrate some hours to Geisha tomorrow.

Below are my updated pictures and I have finally completed her beautiful fan that she is holding, it was such a potch with swapping so many different colours and took such a long time, and now I know why I put it off for so long

A Little Closer up

Last week I made a Lemon Drizzle cake, and it tasted so good, I must admit although I love all kinds of cake, Lemon Drizzle is quite a favourite of mine - and the families as it was all eaten up in two days! I've added two photos so I can be reminded of how good it tasted - yum!

Hope you are all well and the weather isn't too bad where you all are

  1. Congrats on finishing the fan. Confetti stitches are not fun but they sure are pretty when done. Lemon Drizzle cake sure looks yummy. Too bad it's already all gone.

    Hugs,
    Veronica.
