Lovely White Snow

Well, what a quite eventful weekend, it was full of snow, Ikea buying (and building, well... hubby built and I surveyed hehe!)

I took the photos off Shaun's Blog (http://valleysshutterbug.blogspot.com/) to show what it was like this weekend, the first photo is a view from the back of the house, he took this on Saturday when we came back from Cardiff Bay and Ikea, on the way back we were down to 40mph single lane on the motorway all the way home

Yesterday we had to pick up an Ikea unit from an eBay seller in Brecon, to get from here to Brecon, you have to drive through the Brecon Beacons, and we just had to stop and take a photograph

So I did not have much time to stitch this weekend, but had a few hours whilst Shaun was pottering about, so here are the photographs of the updated geisha

Hope everyone had a great weekend, and the snow didn't disrupt you all too much

  1. well, fancy pinching my photos.... tut tut tut, it was a beautiful shot to take, but was too cold to stay out in it too long. She is coming along good now though.

  3. Gorgeous photos. The snow makes everything look so clean and sparkly. I remember a holiday as a teenager in the early 1970's, staying near Raglan and going for days out to the Brecon Beacons, twice. They were stunning in the summer too.
Your Geisha looks so pretty,I love the mauves, they are my favourite colours:)

    1. I love driving through the beacons, and as you say they are as beautiful in the summer, especially with an ice cream in hand!
I love all the mauves aswell, makes a great stand out colour next to the black - so so much black! :)
